Fees and Billing
Testing is an expensive process due to the level of expertise needed to complete a solid assessment.  We are sensitive to the expense of the process and double up on our services when possible.  For example, if an educational specialist or psychology associate is testing your child, Dr. Sandler will meet with you during part of the time your child is being tested to gather more information from you.  This is done concurrently to avoid another billable hour.  Kathy Kvedar, our office manager, will review the actual fees, codes and other information you need to see if your insurance will cover a portion of the testing.

The total fee for the testing process is based upon time. Some children are less complicated and the work takes less time and therefore the fee is lower.  Other times the testing will require more time due to the number of tests the child is given and how the child works in the sessions.
